Challenges and proffered solution
- Finance: one of the major challenges facing the entire centre is finance. The major source of income has been the production works. There is a need for the centre to have other sources of income if she must be one hundred percent self sustaining.
- Technical man power: it has not been easy to recruit maintain our technical staff. Even those trained in the centre usually leaves for a better pay in other local industries and beyond. Thus, better working conditions is required to retain such staff.
- Inadequate number of staff: considering the dual activities of the centre, more staff is supposed to be employed to ensure a maximum output.
- Poor turn up in recruitment of trainee: considering the primary goal of the centre, more advertisement should be enforced in order to maximize the number of trainees in the centre.
